Managing Energy Associate Dr. Long Lam will join the “Large Load Building Electrification and Decarbonization” panel on Monday. May 11 from 9:00-10:30 a.m. (ET). He will discuss a recent Brattle report, “A Decade of Beneficial Electrification: Progress and the Path Ahead.”

Dr. Lam will also moderate the “Integrating DERs Into Markets” panel on Tuesday, May 12, from 3:30–4:30 p.m. (ET). The panelists will explore mechanisms that integrate DERs at scale, and they’ll highlight participation models and compensation frameworks by examining three case studies.

Energy Associate Kate Peters will join the “Quantifying and Operationalizing the Demand Stack” panel on Wednesday, May 13, from 9:00–9:45 a.m. (ET). Panelists will discuss Brattle’s quantitative analysis of demand stack advantages, which can be used to optimize demand-side programs, and will also share their experiences implementing these strategies into regulatory frameworks, building internal support, and improving customer experiences.
