During the ISDA/AFMA Derivatives Trading Forum 2025, on October 21, Principal Ioannis Gkatzimas will join the session on “Managing Termination Risk” to discuss what lessons can be drawn from recent events – such as the collapses of Archegos and Silicon Valley Bank – and what can be done to improve the risk management process.
Mr. Gkatzimas will join three sessions at the ISDA Close-out Seminar on October 22 to discuss preparatory steps, actions, and determining early termination amounts. At the seminar, participants will consider the close-out of a hypothetical derivatives portfolio against a hypothetical global institution.
