Brattle Principal Jurgen Weiss will speak at the 42nd International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE) International Conference, to be held May 29 to June 1 in Montréal.

This year’s conference will focus on the development of local energy sources, their abilities and challenges to reach global markets, and how local energy sources can be developed to better meet societies’ energy needs.

Dr. Weiss will speak on the panel “Market Access and Infrastructure.” The panel will discuss how market access is an increasing challenge for energy producers, with a lack of pipelines, limits in transmission capacity, or other gaps in infrastructure becoming a serious concern in many countries.
