Samuel Newell to Moderate a Transmission Capacity Panel at ERCOT Market Summit

Brattle Principal Samuel Newell will moderate a panel discussion on transmission capacity at the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) Market Summit, which will take place February 25–27 in Austin, TX.

Dr. Newell will moderate the “Expanding Transmission Capacity – Prospects for New Construction and Advanced Technology” panel. The panelists will explore how regulatory policies could enable technologies such as dynamic line ratings and advanced conductors to add capacity and reduce line loss.
