Pinar Bagci has 20 years of experience advising on the economics of competition, regulation, and damages assessment. Dr. Bagci has prepared expert economist testimony for national courts and international arbitration tribunals related to liability and the estimation of damages.

Renée Duplantis has more than 15 years of experience involving complex competition matters in Canada, the United States, and Europe. She specializes in the empirical analysis of antitrust issues with a primary focus on quantifying the competition effects of mergers.

Daniel McFadden is a Nobel Laureate and the Presidential Professor of Health Economics at the University of Southern California, where he holds joint appointments at the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy and the USC Dornsife College’s Department of Economics.

Loren Smith specializes in applying economic and econometric tools to antitrust and competition matters, with a focus on horizontal and vertical mergers. Dr. Smith has been the lead economic expert for both government agencies and private parties in regulatory investigations, federal merger challenges, and private litigations.

Ian Cass specializes in antitrust and competition, particularly supporting clients and experts in the analysis of mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Brattle, Mr. Cass worked in merger enforcement at the Canadian Competition Bureau.

Kai-Uwe Kühn is a Brattle Academic Advisor and Professor of Economics at the University of East Anglia who has advised on all aspects of competition matters for 25 years. He has served as the Chief Economist at DG Competition, European Commission.
