Benefits of Grid-Enhancing Technologies: Bruce Tsuchida Discusses at SPP Economics Studies Working Group Net Conference

Brattle Principal Bruce Tsuchida recently discussed grid-enhancing technologies (GETs) at a Southwest Power Pool (SPP) Economics Studies Working Group (ESWG) Net Conference on February 4.
Mr. Tsuchida presented on “Unlocking the Queue with Grid-Enhancing Technologies” with Jay Caspary of Grid Strategies. They discussed their analysis of how much additional renewables can be added to the grid using GETs and the combined benefits of three particular GETs for 2025, a select area within SPP, and a representation of a full year.
