On behalf of the FTC, supported expert analysis of the likely competitive impact of Hackensack Meridian Health’s proposed acquisition of Englewood Health and evaluated the efficiencies and procompetitive effects claimed by the merging parties’ experts. The US District Court granted the FTC’s motion for a preliminary injunction, and the parties later abandoned the transaction.
