Offshore wind economics

For developers of various offshore wind facilities, Dr. Weiss has been conducting various economic assessments of the impact of individual wind projects on energy markets and the economy in several states on the Atlantic seaboard. He functioned as an expert witness for the Massachusetts Attorney General in the Cape Wind proceedings and, on behalf of various renewable energy NGOs, developed whitepapers analyzing the economic impacts and economic rationale of developing a U.S.-based offshore wind industry.
