Resource Adequacy Investigation
Led the joint New Jersey BPU and Brattle effort to provide expert support, economic modeling analysis, and policy analysis as part of the Board’s investigation of resource adequacy alternatives. Conducted a complete analysis of New Jersey policies to achieve 100% economy-wide decarbonization by 2040 with interim targets for renewable development and other policy requirements. Developed a range of innovative policy solutions for achieving these policy mandates under PJM’s Fixed Resource Requirement (FRR) alternative, through state-conducted clean energy and capacity auctions, and through a newly-developed regional Integrated Clean Capacity Market (ICCM) design proposal.
