Dr. Griffin-Carney specializes in energy system modeling and policy analysis.

At Brattle, they conduct capacity expansion and production cost modeling to analyze the cost effectiveness and technical feasibility of electricity system planning and operation strategy. Dr. Griffin-Garney’s dissertation research utilized linear optimization modeling and techno-economic analysis to study electric and fuel system integration and industrial decarbonization.
