Ryan Hledik to Join Two Panels at Uplight Customer Connect

Principal Ryan Hledik will join two panels at Uplight Customer Connect: Activating Customers for Grid Flexibility.

The first panel, “Leveraging System Utilization to Tackle Affordability and Load Growth,” will take place from 10:00–11:15 a.m. The panelists will discuss Brattle’s new report on opportunities to improve grid utilization and will highlight a real-world case study from Virginia, where the utilization-first strategy for building infrastructure has already been translated into legislation.

The second panel, “Operationalizing the Demand Stack,” will take place from 1:25–2:30 p.m. Mr. Hledik will reveal findings from Brattle’s recent quantitative analysis of Demand Stack benefits for Evergy’s Missouri service territory, illustrating how this strategy can expand and optimize demand-side investments, enabling utilities to enable load growth and address affordability challenges exacerbated by constraints on conventional supply resources.
