Dr. Aiyer specializes in econometric modeling and industrial organization. His casework includes consumer protection matters and intellectual property litigation in the technology industry.

His research experience spans industrial organization, development economics, and market design, with a focus on regulation and competition in education markets. While completing his PhD, Dr. Aiyer studied how price regulation and centralized admissions shape competition, enrollment, and welfare in higher education markets using a combination of structural and reduced form approaches.
