Mr. Pender is a former attorney who specializes in financial services and consumer finance litigation matters.

He is experienced in enhancing the evidentiary value of written opinions and guiding subject matter experts through the process of developing effective written deliverables for use in litigation settings. Mr. Pender has developed expert reports addressing nuanced questions regarding sensitive areas such as economic principles, custom and practice, materiality analysis, causation, risk management, and internal controls. Mr. Pender has also provided conceptual guidance and writing assistance on securities class actions requiring econometric analysis, valuation disputes, and enforcement actions or investigations relating to mortgage underwriting and servicing, anti-kickback, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and accounting fraud.
