Mr. Pastor specializes in applying economic theory and financial valuation techniques in complex litigation. He has extensive experience analyzing investments and valuing illiquid assets, including real estate, trade secrets, and privately held businesses.

Mr. Pastor has authored expert reports and testified in real estate disputes. His valuation experience includes real estate development projects, commercial mortgage-backed security (CMBS) tranches, and multifamily properties. He has also analyzed disputes involving mortgage-backed security (MBS) credit rating models, mortgage servicing standards, appraisal techniques, automated valuation models, and fair housing compliance.

Additionally, Mr. Pastor has supported experts analyzing issues such as appropriate investment fee structures, material adverse effects in a disputed merger, consumer price impacts from a proposed merger, and damages from alleged trade secret theft.

Prior to joining The Brattle Group, Mr. Pastor worked in litigation consulting at a global economics consultancy.
