Dr. Wind is the Lauder Professor Emeritus and Professor of Marketing at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

An internationally recognized expert on marketing strategy and research, consumer behavior, and new product and market development, Dr. Wind has advised dozens of companies and nonprofit organizations and provided expert testimony in a number of intellectual property and antitrust cases. He has edited top marketing journals and published over 300 articles, manuscripts, and chapters, and authored, coauthored, or edited over 30 books. His current research explores marketing-driven business strategy, creativity, and innovation, as well as AI for customer engagement.

The founder of Wharton’s SEI Center for Advanced Studies in Management, which he directed for three decades, Dr. Wind also led the development of the Wharton Executive MBA, the Lauder Institute, the Wharton Fellows, Wharton School Publishing, and various research programs. A member of advisory boards of various companies and nonprofit organizations, he is the Co-founder of the Reimagine Education Global Competition and Conference as well as Reichman University, the first private, nonprofit university in Israel.

Dr. Wind has been recognized with numerous honors and awards, including the four major marketing awards: the Buck Weaver, Parlin, Converse, and AMA/Irwin Distinguished Educator Awards. He was an inductee into the inaugural group of American Marketing Association (AMA) Fellows and a 2017 inductee into the Marketing Hall of Fame.
