Dr. Chance specializes in applying econometric analysis in competition, technology, and employment matters.

He has experience consulting on issues of liability and damages in antitrust cases involving collusion and market allocation in utilities and media. Dr. Chance’s work focuses on using the tools of applied econometrics to perform statistical analysis of very large datasets and to model damages.

Prior to joining Brattle, Dr. Chance received his PhD and MS from Tufts University, where his research focused on the interrelationship between labor markets and migration.
