Mr. Raveggi is an expert in the economics of competition policy, with over 20 years of experience advising clients on mergers, cartels, and anticompetitive agreements.

He has led project teams and consulted on numerous complex Phase I and Phase II merger investigations before the European Commission, the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), China’s SAMR, and over a dozen other large national competition authorities in Europe and internationally. Mr. Raveggi’s work has included high-profile transactions such as Omnicom/IPG, Disney/Reliance and Booking/eTraveli. His experience spans multiple sectors, including commodities, technology, advertising, media, airlines, banking, pharmaceuticals and medical equipment.

Recognized by Global Competition Review and Lexology (formerly Who’s Who Legal) as a leading competition economist, Mr. Raveggi also has extensive experience with Article 101 and 102 cases. He advises clients in matters involving cartels and abuse of dominant positions in proceedings with competition authorities and in litigation. He is an expert in market analysis – including product and geographic market definition, competition assessment, and impact analysis.

Prior to joining Brattle, Mr. Raveggi spent over two decades at a competition economics consultancy, in London, Brussels, and most recently Milan. He enjoys teaching, having lectured at Sciences Po-Dijon for ten years.
