Brattle advised on the proposed merger of two suppliers of construction inputs across Australia. The work involved developing detailed static and interactive maps of supplier and customer locations, constructing catchment areas based on drive-time and customer locations, and estimating shares of supply across regions of varying sizes. We analysed potential horizontal overlaps and vertical effects and our analysis formed part of the parties’ long-form merger notification.
