Certain Water Filters and Components Thereof (Inv. No. 337-TA-1126)

On behalf of complainants, Electrolux and KXT, Dr. Seth submitted an expert report evaluating the economic domestic industry, as well as the barriers to and costs of entering the US market, in support of a general exclusion order (GEO). The ITC agreed, and issued a GEO banning the importation of all refrigerator water filters that infringed on four patents that Electrolux licensed from its suppler, KXT.
