Dr. Butelmann, a former judge for the Chilean Competition Tribunal, is an expert in competition policy and regulation of natural monopolies.
In addition to her time with the Tribunal, she was a member of the National Commission for Economic Productivity. She previously served as the Chief of the Utilities Regulation Division at the Chilean Ministry of Economy. She is the founder of Butelmann Consultores, advising on competition and economic regulation issues in Chile as well as Ecuador.
