Dr. Nusbaum specializes in applied econometrics, structural modeling, and estimating counterfactual outcomes, particularly in matters related to competition, monopolization, and class certification.

He has both directed and contributed to case teams in implementing econometric techniques in antitrust matters across a broad range of industries, including technology, fisheries, and agriculture. Dr. Nusbaum has been involved in matters on behalf of government agencies, private firms, and class plaintiffs.

In addition to his consulting work, Dr. Nusbaum regularly conducts academic research, which has been published in peer-reviewed journals including the Review of Economic Dynamics and the Journal of Nanotechnology in Engineering and Medicine as well as the National Bureau of Economic Research working paper series.

Personal Interests

Charlie grew up along the South Jersey Coast, where he attended Stockton University. During his time in South Jersey, Charlie developed a passion for the outdoors and staying active. He continues to surf and play volleyball when he visits the shore, and tries to squeeze in a tennis match whenever possible.
