Dr. Maloney is a labor economist with experience in labor and employment litigation.

She has consulted on projects involving discrimination, focusing on wage and employment discrimination in particular. She also has experience working with large and complex datasets and in employing innovative machine learning and natural language processing algorithms to take advantage of data that would be unwieldy using traditional methods.

Prior to joining Brattle, Dr. Maloney received her PhD from the University of California at Irvine, where her research focused on labor market discrimination and the economics of gender. While there, she began her consulting work, contributing to expert reports on high-profile class actions involving companies such as Google, Oracle, and Nike.
