Estimated damages claims during a contract dispute by conducting an analysis to forecast power and carbon prices in Western Interconnection through a long-term capacity expansion model. The analysis involved modeling the entire Western Interconnection electricity system and also California’s Cap and Trade program that covers the emissions for all sectors.
