Mr. Bigelow specializes in energy market resource valuation and dynamic rate design, with expertise spanning both retail and wholesale market operations.
He focuses his wholesale market research on battery storage and has modeled storage assets in every major US energy market and abroad for a wide range of investors and utilities. On the retail side, Mr. Bigelow specializes in time-varying residential and commercial rates, and he has also explored the impact of heating electrification and fixed bills on rates. His work has also touched on transmission rate design, distributed energy resource (DER) market integration, and data center rate design.
