Merger between two coatings manufacturers

Brattle was retained by Kirkland & Ellis to conduct economic analyses for the proposed acquisition of Ferro Corporation by Prince International Corporation, both of which are manufacturers and suppliers of porcelain enamel coatings and glass coatings. The transaction was valued at approximately $2.1 billion. Brattle supported the parties in making submissions in various jurisdictions, including in the US, China, the European Economic Area, Colombia, Mexico, Russia, Taiwan, and Turkey. The merger was completed in early 2022.
