Working on behalf of client Puget Sound Energy, Brattle provided testimony to Washington State’s Pollution Control Hearings Board regarding the utility’s proposed Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) marine terminal in Tacoma, Washington. Several parties appealed the permit, arguing that the accompanying supplemental environmental impact statement (SEIS) did not comply with the State Environmental Policy Act and violated Puget Sound Clean Air Agency regulations. Brattle evaluated the reasonableness of the SEIS. The Board agreed with Brattle’s assessment, allowing Puget Sound Energy to move forward with the project.
